Information recorded when you visit
Our web server records requests to deliver pages, investigate errors, maintain security and understand site traffic. Logs can contain your IP address, request time, requested path, response status, browser user agent and referring page. Query strings are omitted from the request and referrer fields in this site’s access logs, so search terms are not stored there.
The site runs on a virtual private server operated through DigitalOcean. Server traffic reports use GoAccess and an administrator-only reporting service. Reports mask visitor IP addresses by default. Authorized administrators can access original server records when investigating a technical or security issue.
Retention and access
Access and error logs rotate daily, with 14 rotated logs retained, plus the active log. Traffic reports cover up to 14 days. Reports and exports require administrator authentication and are not public. Downloads retained by an administrator remain under that administrator’s control and should be deleted when no longer needed.
Cookies, advertising and browser storage
Public pages do not set analytics or advertising cookies, use tracking pixels, or store visitor profiles in local storage. Google Analytics, Google AdSense and third-party advertising are disabled. No consent banner is needed for the site’s currently disabled advertising and browser analytics features; this policy and consent controls will be updated before those features are enabled.
Search and contact
Search filtering runs in your browser using a small index downloaded from this site. Search text can appear in your browser’s address bar and history. The site currently has no active contact form, user accounts, comment system or newsletter signup, and does not collect form submissions.
External links and disclosure
References link to independent websites, which have their own privacy policies. The site does not sell visitor information or share it with advertising partners. Hosting providers process technical data necessary to operate the site; records may also be disclosed where legally required.
Security and privacy choices
HTTPS protects data in transit. Access restrictions and limited retention reduce exposure, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. You may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information under the law that applies to you. Check the contact page for the availability of a public contact channel. You can also manage browser history and privacy preferences in your browser settings.

Material changes to the site’s data practices will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
