KnowDifferences is an independent comparison reference site built around one simple goal: explain the difference between similar terms and things without making the reader dig through several pages.
The domain previously hosted a comparison website. The current site is a restoration of useful historical topics and URLs, rebuilt with newly written explanations, comparison tables and references. We do not claim that the current operator is the former publisher, and we do not attribute newly written articles to historical authors unless authorship is independently verified and the text is actually theirs.
Editorial approach
A useful comparison should do more than repeat two dictionary definitions. Our standard format is: direct answer, definitions, side-by-side table, detailed distinctions, similarities, examples, common mistakes, FAQs and references.
For health, legal, engineering and other high-impact topics, general educational content is clearly separated from diagnosis, legal advice or design instructions. Where a rule depends on country, code, league or product specification, the article says so.
Corrections
If you find an error, keep the page URL, the statement you believe is wrong, and a reliable source supporting the correction. Check the Contact page for the availability of a public contact channel. Material corrections are reflected in the article’s update date and a correction note when appropriate.
